The Double E Theater
Featuring Vermont’s only large format cinema screen, this large theater (the T-Rex at Essex Cinemas) has super comfortable movie theater seating for 400 guests. This is truly the place to see a seated show in Chittenden County, and you can bring a beverage in to enjoy while you watch!
Boasting the best quality sound in the state and “Eve”—our Steinway D-Series grand piano— the theater is not only our premier listening room, it is also an exceptional space for your large private or public multi-media presentations, private screenings or concerts, recitals, and larger speaking events rental needs. The stage can also be configured to offer a dance floor for a total venue capacity of 500 people.
